Surrey, B.C. – Pool B competitors delivered clutch rides and fast times in one of the weekend's most important performances, with the top money earners across both go-rounds officially punching their tickets to the Finals on Monday.
Tickets for Sunday's Pool B Go Round 2 sold out days in advance, continuing the trend of packed rodeo performances throughout the 2026 Cloverdale Rodeo. Fans who weren't able to secure a seat at the Stetson Bowl still had the opportunity to catch every second of the action through the Cloverdale Rodeo's official live stream, which drew record-breaking online viewership over the weekend.
Monday's finals are also a full sell-out, so the best way to catch the action is to watch the live stream either at home or at the viewing party at the Lasso Lounge on site at the Fairgrounds.
Layton Green Secures Back-to-Back Go-Round Wins
Saddle bronc riders opened the afternoon with a high-scoring showcase led by Layton Green, who secured back-to-back go-round wins with an outstanding 89-point ride aboard Ice Man. Green and Ice Man met just two weeks ago, and the rider got the better of this battle as he took top spot and earned his way into Monday's Finals as the top earner with $5,600 under his belt so far. Lucas Macza followed in second place for the second time, too, with 86 points on El Dorado, while James Perrin secured third.
Taylor Broussard Tops the Leaderboard
The bareback riding competition delivered another electric round of action as Taylor Broussard topped the leaderboard with an impressive 88.5-point ride aboard Xotic Tango. Kody Lamb stayed right behind with 88 points on Blue Bananas, while Mason Stuller and Leighton Berry split third with matching 86.5-point rides.
Spur Owens Delivers the Top Score
Bull riding once again brought the crowd to its feet in the final event of the day as riders put everything on the line against some of the hardest-bucking stock of the weekend. Spur Owens delivered the top score of the afternoon with an 87.5-point ride aboard White Lie, while Cody Coverchuck and Ruger Piva tied for second at 83.5 points.
Carman Pozzobon Claims the Go-Round Victory
Ladies barrel racing wrapped up the afternoon with a lightning-fast battle against the clock as Carman Pozzobon claimed the go-round victory with a blazing 15.91-second run as Ozzy Osbourne's Bark at the Moon blared on the PA. Sloan McFarlane followed closely in second at 16.07 seconds, while Brooke Wills and Kaitlin Schuck also turned in strong runs to finish in the money.
Looking Ahead to Monday's Finals
With the pool rounds now complete, the riders advancing to Monday's Finals will get one brief chance to catch their breath Sunday night as they attend the annual winners' dinner before turning their focus back to the arena. By Monday afternoon at 2:00 p.m., the stakes will be higher than ever as the remaining competitors battle for Cloverdale Rodeo championships, unforgettable moments, $25,000 cheques, and a coveted set of Cloverdale Spurs in front of what is expected to be another electric crowd.
