Volunteer Positions

Find your role at the Fair

Choose from a variety of positions that keep the Fair running and welcoming for over 100,000 guests.

Wranglers

Our ambassadors to the grounds — greeting guests, handing out stars to kids, and promoting events and attractions.

Trading Post

Our merchandise and ticket sales booth on the Fair grounds.

Buckaroo Barn

Our Kidz Zone with many interactive activities for kids.

Farm Friendz

Bring animals for our guests to view and take selfies with, including Famous Todd the Lama.

Hops & Vines

A casual area where guests enjoy a glass of wine & music. Duties include cleaning tables, serving, and 50/50 sales.

Stetson Hosts & Suite

Meet, greet, and seat guests at our 5 performances, or host VIPs and sponsors in the Stetson Suite.

50/50 Sales

Must be 19+ for this role; under 19s can assist when accompanied by an adult.

Mascots

Choose to be one of our 5 mascots or help guide them around the Fair.

Orientation

Volunteer Orientation Night

Volunteer Orientation Night is Thursday, May 7th at 5pm at Shannon Hall 6050 – 176th Street. You will receive email with details once you have been accepted as a volunteer.

Volunteer Benefits

What you'll receive as a volunteer

As a volunteer, you will receive free admission to the Country Fair so that you can experience all the attractions and fun entertainment.

All Volunteers

Some of the benefits you will receive from being a volunteer are:

• A meal at the Volunteer Lounge or one of the 3 Volunteer Hubs.

• Free admission to the Country Fair

• Volunteer Appreciation Event in the Fall (TBA)

Youth Volunteers (15 – 18 years old)

Some of the benefits you will receive from being a Youth Volunteer are: • Opportunity to apply for the annual Cloverdale Rodeo Youth Initiative Foundation Scholarship. • Letter of completion of your volunteer hours for your records

After you have applied, a volunteer coordinator will contact you to arrange a time for an interview. Interviews will take place in April.
