It's Rodeo Weekend – BC's Biggest Rodeo Starts Tonight

The 134th Cloverdale Country Fair and 77th Cloverdale Rodeo opens its gates with over 300 volunteers ready to welcome fans from across the country.

The gates are officially open for the 134th Cloverdale Country Fair and 77th Cloverdale Rodeo! Over 300 volunteers are ready to welcome fans from across the country for one of the most highly anticipated events of the season.

Rodeo fans are in for a treat as this year's lineup of Rodeo Contestants is stacked, featuring national and world champion riders, returning Cloverdale Rodeo champions, and some of the top names in the sport—all competing for over $300,000 in prize money.

"The Cloverdale Rodeo has a long-standing tradition of showcasing the highest level of rodeo competition in Canada, and this year will be no exception," says Kathy Sheppard, President of the Cloverdale Rodeo & Exhibition Association. "We are proud to host such an exceptional group of athletes and to offer fans a weekend of world-class entertainment that celebrates both sport and community."

Tickets are selling fast, and tickets for the Saturday afternoon and Sunday afternoon performances are already sold out. Fans are encouraged to secure seats before the rest of the performances sell out.

The 2025 Cloverdale Rodeo is shaping up to be one of the fiercest yet, featuring a powerhouse lineup of world-class athletes, national champions, rising stars, and fan-favourite locals. Expect to see past Cloverdale champions and rodeo legends back in action, all ready to bring their best to the arena.

"I love coming to Cloverdale predominantly because of the fans and the atmosphere," says 2024 Canadian National Bareback Champion, Kody Lamb. "They have some of the greatest fans in rodeo, and we're always treated so well by the committee and everyone involved in putting on the rodeo. Cloverdale is a highlight of every rodeo season."
